Shifting The Focus

I felt like, for too long I was kind of shifting the focus of this site too far towards my work-life and that wasn't the scope I wanted to operate this in after all. I was going back through the pages, reading the way I had some things set up and it just felt robotic coming from me.

I realized that I was beginning to view this space as a professional outlet rather than something I can just share things to as a creative outlet and a place for personal -AND- professional connections to come learn more about me and what I do, how I operate, and what my interests are, etc...

I'm always working on projects, collaborating with people sometimes, but never really talking about them anywhere other than word of mouth. I'm also always out doing things that I find interesting and others might as well but realizing I haven't set this place up to post it in yet.

In person I often talk with others about these things and I can show them images on my phone all day long of the things I've been doing, but it doesn't really carry a weight when I can't put it all into the context I'd like to at that moment. It just feels better when it's organized somewhere when you 'really' want to go learn more about it and/or how to make it.

I'll probably revisit this post in a few days to a week, as I have a work week coming up. I plan to post some tutorials, some games I've been working on, textures, and probably some of the music I've created. I do metal work, 3D Printing, programming micro controllers, prototyping parts, drafting, welding and quite a few other things that I'd like to probably bring up more here. I also play quite a few games, popular and obscure alike. I feel like some of those might be fun to talk about as well. There's also a high possibility I will occasionally give out game keys and that sort of thing on Steam, it just depends what I have access to!

I've always been sort of closed off when it comes to things I make or build. I've maybe been my own worst critic and I'm trying to stop doing that. I'm shifting the focus of this space to reflect more personal and creative things in the very near future. 👍

Also... Dog pictures and videos at some point too. 🐕‍🦺
